Unstable Creations teamed up with Werewolf to create a 3D projection Mapping show for the Moscow International Festival 'Circle of Light'.
We showcased this work at the VDNKh Pavillion number 1 in Moscow September 2016 as part of the Art Vision, International Projection Mapping Contest and won First Prize.

Bespoke stage set design for Bicep at the Tunnels in Aberdeen for Rare Thursday and Nothing More to Say.
This is the first outing of our new Modular AV Installation.
We now have the capacity to build large scale interior and exterior structures for Events and festivals. This is only a small amount of the materials available to us, which were kindly donated by Gras and Craft Scotland. The Biscuit Factory in Edinburgh have also kindly offered us a 6 month Artist Residence so we can develop our content. Watch out for more iterations in the coming months.

Our structures are solid and can accommodate a full DJ set up with live gear. These large polystyrene blocks, eliminate vibrations, so there no need for a separate booth.
This fully Modular setup can be customised to fit any stage size, set up in just a few hours and transported in one trip.
Award Ceremony
Projection Mapping
Creative Edinburgh Commissioned Unstable Creations to create an audio-visual spectacle for their 5th Birthday Awards Ceremony at the iconic Central Hall Venue in Edinburgh.
With so much going on at the event we decided to take over venues 350sqm arched ceiling and project an audio responsive geometric illustration of a '5' onto it.
The 5 was illustrated live on site using bezier curved projections, which were double hard to achieve as the roof was arched. We also had to project sideways back to back projectors from the back of the stage and split the massive projection into two halves. It took hours of lying on the floor with a laptop and some complicated backwards drawings of the roof to master.
The second iteration of the Sonic Room series, displayed at Coburg House Gallery in Leith as part of Creative Edinburgh's Curiosity shop.
Sonic Room is an Interactive Visual Synthesiser which is reactive to audio.
The installation provided the music and visuals for the event.
Users could switch between, the built in playlist or choose to use their phone as the audio input and watch the installation react to their music.
I also delivered a talk about the work and some other projects which I had been working on over the last year or so.
Sonic Room
Audio Reative Visual Synthesiser.
Sonic Room is a step sideways from VJ'ing and Projection Mapping.
Designed for electronic music, this installation uses no animations and no graphics, all visual elements are 100% reactive to sound. Colour, Position and Shape are all determined by in coming audio.
This instance is set in a room environment as part of Edinburgh Napier's 2015 Degree Show.
Visitors had the option to interact with the installation by shuffling visual elements or using their own music to control the movement.
Sonic Room can also be adapted for stage, and is now doing the rounds at clubs and festivals in Scotland this summer. For enquiries Email: unstable creations@gmail.com
